case study: Light Blue Optics - Light Touch

Light Blue Optics approached UI Centric to create a compelling user interface for their unique multi-touch enabled pico projector.

Because the projector uses an entirely new type of laser technology to construct images, UI Centric first created detailed metrics by meticulously measuring various properties of the device to establish a best-practice styleguide for third-party software OEMs.

After we reached a detailed understanding of the projection and touch capabilities, we then designed and built an intuitive and vivid user interface that maximises the potential of the device. Included in the interface is a multitouch photo browsing application and a media player.
