case study: BT Mosaic

BT Mosaic

Large and complex projects such as BT Mosaic require a structured approach to designing and building an engaging, award-winning user experience.

Understanding the user flow

The process begins by understanding the users' needs from the system and proposing an efficient and intuitive user journey. Creating wireframes is an essential part of this process to reduce the amount of design and development time downstream.

Information architecture

In complex applications such as Mosaic, managing the vast amount of information and choices available to the user is key to providing an intuitive GUI. Information is presented in a contextual (when-needed) and layered manner. We use state diagrams to map out the information model.

Applying design and developing

When the information architecture is complete, and graphic designs have been produced, our developers will then begin to bring the UI to life

For this project we worked closely with the BT development team using an Agile methodology.

UI Centric were responsible for architecting and developing the user interface for BT's broadcast asset management system, BT Mosaic.
